drawing-shells

This is a mix media design sheet of different forms of shells of which i used black pen to define detail within one of the shells and put white paint around it to standout from the background. Also i used black and blue ink to add tone and shadow to the shells.

This design sheet is created with different coloured inks such as blue, black and pink create depth and tone within the shells. Also i like the expressive style of the ink running to lift the drawings off of the page.
This design sheet is done with pencil which enable me to draw the shells in great detail and makes it easy to create shading and tone which enables me to make the shells look realistic.

However  these drawings are created using pen and ink of which i used the ink to add ton and shadow and used the pen to add detail and define the shapes of the shells.

on the hand thies design sheet it done using black pen which i used to create texture and depth by cross hatching and curved lines to make the shells have a 3D element.

CAD

This is my character animation which i created in Illustrator, using two poses of the character i animated them in PhotoShop making the character quickly change his emotions. Once i created my character using simple shapes and adding tints to the bright colours making the character look more 3D and bold, i then imported the two poses in PhotoShop and place the characters over each to imitate the movement. Then i click animate and selected the amount of time i wanted it to move for.
I created this poster design in PhotoShop were i collected a series of images of my chosen destination 'New York City'. To merge the images together i used add mask then used the pen tool to erase the edges of the images, which made them become light and soft enabling me to combine the pictures. I then used a bold font 'Arial', which i thought was bold and bright grabbing your attention.

Drawing

This shows the development of my final portrait which i based upon the style of Jenny Savile's expressive technique. First i put a brown wash to show where the shadows and tones are in my photo so my portrait can have depth and tone like in the photogragh.
This painting is done using just black and white paint which i used on top of a A4 sized photo of my self. i painted on top of my photo because i wanted to learn different blending techniques so i could use them in my final portrait of myself, which i am doing in the style of Jenny Savile.
